A useful day cream doesn't try to do everything. It limits water loss, improves comfort, and prepares the skin for sun protection. The best choice depends more on the complete formula than on a star active ingredient.

It cannot reposition the deep structures of the face or make an established wrinkle disappear. Its immediate effect primarily comes from water, film, and optical smoothing of the surface. Changes related to an active ingredient are gradual and remain modest.

Nor does it replace a professional evaluation when redness persists, skin itches severely, or lesions appear. In these situations, adding active ingredients often complicates observation instead of clarifying it.

Finally, an anti-aging claim is not a scientific category. The rational choice is based on tolerance, daily protection, and consistency, not on multiplying promises.
