Why? To review your request, check the business and reply to you; if you tick the box, to send you our trade news.
On what basis? If you act for yourself (sole trader): steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. If you act on behalf of a company: our legitimate interest in reviewing trade partnership requests. Trade news: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who receives it? The NOPAL LIFE team, and our technical service providers acting on our behalf: Shopify, which hosts our website and this form, and Google Workspace, our email service. These providers may process some data outside the European Union. In that case, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, as set out in our Privacy Policy (section “International transfers”). How long? A request that does not lead to a partnership is deleted 12 months after our last exchange. If we work together, your contact details are kept for the duration of the business relationship, then for 3 years before deletion. Documents we are legally required to keep (invoices, accounting records) or that are needed to defend our rights are archived separately, with restricted access, for the applicable legal period.
