Why bentonite at NOPAL LIFE
All clays absorb — bentonite, however, truly vacuums. It's the weekly mask for oily skin that needs a real reset. And because purified skin still needs nourishment, prickly pear oil with its dry touch always concludes the NOPAL LIFE ritual.

Frequently asked questions about bentonite
What's the difference from green clay?
Bentonite is volcanic in origin and swells upon contact with water, giving it superior absorbent power. Green clay (illite) is more remineralizing and versatile. The two complement each other.
How often should I use it?
1 to 2 times a week as a mask for oily skin, once for combination skin (avoiding dry areas). Never daily.
Should I let it dry completely?
No — a clay that cracks begins to dehydrate. Remove the mask when it is still slightly damp, after about 10 minutes.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Its absorbent power is strong: sensitive skin will prefer rhassoul or kaolin, which are gentler.
