A daily cleansing gel with aloe vera, free from harsh sulphates and parabens. Fresh texture, clean rinse, no tight feeling afterwards. The marker that matters. A cleanser is judged five minutes after rinsing, not during. Skin should feel supple — neither greasy nor tight. That squeaky-clean feeling many people look for is in fact the sign that too many lipids have been removed, and a depleted barrier often produces more sebum in response. What this gel does. It lifts the day's sebum, deposited particles and product residue from the surface, without taking the protective film with them. The aloe vera provides a soothing water phase that makes the step less aggressive on reactive skin. How to use it. On damp skin, massage for twenty to thirty seconds in circular movements, then rinse with lukewarm water — never hot, which makes discomfort worse. Pat dry with a clean towel rather than rubbing. Morning and evening, or evening only? The evening is nearly always justified: there is something to remove. The morning depends on your skin — oily skin on waking will appreciate it, normal or dry skin may be fine with a rinse of water. After cleansing, do not leave the face to air-dry for several minutes: that is when skin loses the most water. Carry on within the minute. What it does not do. A cleanser does not remove blackheads and does not deep-clear pores: it works at the surface, for a few tens of seconds. Nor does it exfoliate — that is a separate step, to be spaced out.
