Why activated charcoal at NOPAL LIFE
In NOPAL LIFE's organic face mask and clarifying gel, activated charcoal acts like a magnet for impurities. Its porous microscopic surface allows it to adsorb up to a thousand times its volume in unwanted substances. Combined with the active ingredients of prickly pear, it deeply purges pores while preserving the skin's hydrolipidic film. The result: instantly clearer skin, without the tight sensation often associated with purifying treatments.

Frequently asked questions about activated charcoal
What's the difference between activated charcoal and clay for skin?
Activated charcoal adsorbs toxins and impurities thanks to its extremely porous surface. Green clay mainly absorbs sebum and excess oils. Both are complementary and often formulated together for a complete purifying effect.
Can activated charcoal be used daily?
As a concentrated mask, 1 to 2 times a week is generally sufficient. As a cleansing gel formulated at low concentration, daily use is usually well tolerated. Beyond that, monitor for signs of dryness.
What skin types is it suitable for?
Mainly for combination, oily, and blemish-prone skin. Dry or very sensitive skin should use it with caution and always combined with hydrating active ingredients.
What results can I expect and how long does it take?
A feeling of cleaner and lighter skin is noticeable from the first use. Visible reduction of imperfections and pore tightening are observed after several weeks of regular use.
