Why NOPAL LIFE uses coconut oil
Coconut illustrates our belief: each oil has its territory. Wonderful for the body and hair, it is comedogenic on blemish-prone faces — we say it clearly. For the face, the lightness of prickly pear or jojoba takes over.

Frequently asked questions about coconut oil
Is coconut oil comedogenic?
Yes, its comedogenic rating is high (4/5): on oily or blemish-prone faces, it can clog pores. Reserve it for the body and hair.
Why is my coconut oil solid?
This is normal: it solidifies below about 24°C. A few seconds between the hands are enough to melt it — this is a sign of purity.
Virgin or refined coconut?
Virgin cold-pressed, ideally organic: it retains its fragrance and qualities. Refined has lost some of its benefits.
What hair types does it work on?
Especially thick, dry, curly to coily hair. Fine hair can be weighed down: in this case, prefer jojoba.
