NOPALUNE, a nourishing night cream with prickly pear seed oil and argan oil. Two precious oils in one jar: prickly pear, the house signature, and argan, the other great skincare oil of the Maghreb. Enriched with hyaluronic acid, shea butter and allantoin, it intensely nourishes the skin of the face, neck and décolleté and helps smooth the appearance of wrinkles for a more radiant complexion. Two oils, two roles. The prickly pear seed oil comes from family plantations on the Algerian high plateaus. Its profile, dominated by linoleic acid, gives it a dry finish that is unusual for a rich oil. Argan oil, dominated by oleic acid and naturally rich in vitamin E, brings envelopment and comfort. One penetrates quickly, the other protects for longer: their combination is what allows a nourishing night cream with no greasy film on waking. What the rest of the formula adds. Hyaluronic acid holds water at the surface, shea butter and jojoba oil complete the lipid part, allantoin and aloe vera bring the feeling of soothing. A short formula, of plant origin, with no ingredient of animal origin. For which skin. Dry, mature or comfort-lacking skin, and any skin that feels tight on waking. Combination skin will keep it for dry areas. How to use it. In the evening on cleansed skin, face, neck and décolleté, avoiding the eye area. A hazelnut-sized amount is enough; massage until absorbed. External use. What it does not do. It smooths the appearance of wrinkles, it does not erase them: no cream alters the deep architecture of the dermis. And it does not remove the need for sun protection the next day, which remains the most decisive step against visible ageing. Why at night. A rich texture worn during the day interferes with make-up and sits poorly under sun protection. At night it has a clear field, and it is also when the skin loses the most water through evaporation.
