It is a genuine visual result — and a reversible one: it depends on regularity, not on any transformation of the skin. What hyaluronic acid does. It is a humectant: it attracts and holds water close to the surface. It works all the better when applied to skin that is still slightly damp, and when a texture then limits evaporation — which is what the emollient phase of this cream provides. How to use it. In the morning, on clean, barely patted skin, after your serum. A hazelnut-sized amount is enough for the face. Wait a minute before sun protection or make-up: a texture that is still damp makes whatever goes on top of it pill. What it does not do. It does not fill an established wrinkle, which comes from a deeper architecture no cream reaches. And the plumping effect fades in very dry air: in hard cold or under air conditioning, a richer texture in the evening takes over. Under make-up. If your foundation pills or slides, the cause is almost always layering too fast rather than any incompatibility between formulas.
