A plumping serum combining a plant-derived biomimetic collagen-like active with hyaluronic acid. Comfortable texture, fast absorption. Let us be precise about collagen. The collagen in the dermis is a protein far too large to cross the skin: no topical product rebuilds it. What a so-called "collagen-like" active does is mimic certain surface properties — holding water, forming a supple film, improving how the skin feels and how firm it looks. It is work on appearance, and at that level it is real. Why pair it with hyaluronic acid. Both act on water, but differently: hyaluronic acid captures and holds it, the biomimetic film limits its departure and smooths the surface. The plumping effect comes from that combination, not from a single ingredient. How to use it. A few drops morning and/or evening on clean skin, before your cream. On skin that is still slightly damp, preferably: humectants then find more water to capture. What makes the effect last is regularity and a cream on top. A humectant on its own, in dry air, can even make tightness worse: it draws water in, and nothing holds it there. What it does not do. It does not restore volume lost with age, does not fill a deep wrinkle, and does not guarantee any stimulation of collagen production in the dermis.
