FAQ — NOPAL PURE SHOWER

An in-line shower filter: a casing containing a multi-media filtration cartridge, which screws between your water inlet and your shower hose. The water passes through it before reaching your showerhead.

The cartridge helps reduce chlorine and filter certain impurities and sediments (particles, rust traces), according to our manufacturer's test reports, available on the Compliance & Safety page. It improves shower comfort; it does not transform hard water into soft water.

No. A central softener replaces calcium/magnesium ions throughout the house; our filter acts at the shower point, primarily on chlorine, impurities, and sediments. The two can complement each other.

The comfort (chlorine smell, water sensation) is noticeable from the first showers. For hair, allow 2 to 4 weeks of washing: the fiber gradually gets rid of accumulations. We do not promise any "visible in 24 hours" results.

Yes — filtered water benefits everyone, including children. However, for any specific skin concerns (eczema, dermatitis...), consult a health professional: our filter is a comfort product, not a treatment.

Unscrew your hose from the wall water outlet (by hand), screw on the filter, screw the hose back onto the filter. Let hot water run for 2 minutes to rinse the new cartridge. Total duration: 30 seconds to 2 minutes. FR instructions + video via QR code included.

The G1/2 fitting is used in almost all French and European showers. Compatible: standard hoses, columns with hoses, hand showers. Not compatible: ceiling-mounted overhead showers without an accessible hose. If in doubt, send us a photo of your shower via the contact page, we will reply within 24 working hours.

The necessary gaskets are provided. No Teflon tape, no tools. Tighten firmly by hand, that's enough.

The filter is designed to maintain comfortable flow. With already very low pressure, a slight drop may be felt, especially at the end of the cartridge's life (this is also a sign for replacement). You have 14 days to test it at home.

The filter supports domestic shower temperatures. Do not install on a steam inlet or a hammam system.

2 to 3 months with normal use (1 to 2 showers/day). Very hard water, large family: rather 2 months. Our reminder emails will notify you at the right time.

Unscrew the casing, remove the old cartridge, insert the new one, screw it back on, let water run for 2 minutes. 10 to 30 seconds of handling.
